How to get there
The City of Rotorua and Hamurana Lodge are in the heart of the North Island, just 60 kilometres (37 mi) south of Tauranga, 80 kilometres (50 mi) north of Taupo, 105 kilometres (65 mi) east of Hamilton, and 230 kilometres (140 mi) southeast of Auckland.
GETTING TO ROTORUA BY AIR

Air New Zealand flies to 27 domestic destinations across New Zealand's North and South Islands, with direct daily services to Rotorua from Auckland, Christchurch, and Wellington and twice weekly direct from Sydney.

BY HELICOPTER
- 5 minutes from Rotorua airport

FROM ROTORUA AIRPORT
Turn left out of the gate and continue for 9km. At the north end of the lake turn left at Mourea in Hamurana Road and follow the signs to Ngongotaha. Hamurana Country Estate is on the right, a few minutes after passing the Hamurana Store.

FROM NGONGOTAHA
From SH5 north of Rotorua turn onto SH36 signed for Tauranga. Pass through the Ngongotaha village and continue on for 5km where you will find the estate on your left.
FROM TAURANGA & THE COROMANDEL
Take the new SH6 through Pyes Pa from Tauranga to Rotorua. You will reach a T intersection at Hamurana. Turn right and you will find the estate a few hundred meters along on your right
